As well as readings, workshops, lectures, talks, competition judging and other public events, I do manuscript consultancy work, by email or by post.

I also do mentoring, with a typical structure of an hour-long videochat and comments on submitted work, adaptable to mentee’s requirements.

Fees

Manuscript Critique 
Detailed reading and mark-up of poems looking at individual poems and the overall structure, theme and execution of the book. Minimum one comment per page, typically 3-5 comments.

Pamphlet/chapbook up to 40 pages:  £200
Full collection: £400

Close Reading
Line edits including structural suggestions. Minimum five comments per page.

Up to 5 poems: £75

Mentoring
1 hour session with detailed comments on pre-submitted work and/or career goals: £200
